Role & Responsibility (R&R)
As a key member of our Logistics Operations team based in Singburi, you will be responsible for managing and optimising warehouse operations aligned with GMP standards to ensure impeccable product quality during storage and distribution. Your role will encompass overseeing supplier management related to logistical activities, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance with company policies. You will take charge of project management tasks, including scheduling and maintaining machinery essential for warehouse operations, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain an efficient and cost-effective logistics supply chain.
- Supervising the inventory management process to maintain accurate stock levels and optimise storage utilisation.
- Implementing and monitoring quality management practices during storage to meet and exceed GMP standards.
- Managing the distribution and delivery process to guarantee timely and accurate shipment performance.
- Analysing and controlling warehousing and delivery costs to drive operational excellence.
- Leading initiatives to innovate processes, improve digital tools adoption, and enhance customer focus across logistics operations.
The role demands sound decision-making skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. You will work in close partnership with the central and regional logistics operations teams to support the overall performance of the supply chain within Thailand's sugar business group.
Education
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, reflecting the technical nature of the role which involves machinery maintenance within a logistics environment. Academic credentials should demonstrate a strong foundation in engineering principles alongside an understanding of supply chain or logistics management.
While prior experience in machinery maintenance and repair is essential, especially within operational settings, candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience will be considered. Additional certifications or training in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and quality assurance are advantageous.
Proficiency in English at a conversational level is required, corresponding to Group B skills, since effective communication with suppliers, stakeholders, and occasionally international partners will be part of daily responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be aged between 22 to 28 years, reflecting a stage of career development with readiness for challenging operational responsibilities.
